configurations to support customer networks (MPLS/VPLS). Produced and
modified configurations for core Cisco and Juniper routers and coordinated

customers. § IPv4 address space
management and subnetting § Tracked new and
augmented services through Remedy Change Management and other internal

circuits in Metasolv M6, and Cramer engineering databases. § Responsible for
classroom training on special projects and new processes, as it relates to
service deployment. § Oversaw
provisioning and network engineering processes on multiple projects.
Managed escalated projects from project management team. § Part of Pilot team
that oversaw major OSS migration which streamlined procedures, reduced

Test and Turn Up Supervisor Responsible for supervising 3 teams for
test and turn-up of fiber optic systems relating to Verizon’s FIOS broadband
build out. Responsibilities/Results: § Responsible for
the installation, testing, and turn-up of Motorola’s OLT GPON fiber
technology, Cisco’s SA EDFA video technology, Broadband Media Routers,
Juniper E320 Routers, and OTDR testing for all Central Office single mode
fiber installations. § Responsible for
testing/turn-up, and provisioning of Alcatel’s ASAM systems. § Received 100%
on-time test and turn-up status from Verizon during aggressive FIOS roll-out
schedule.
Technical Trainer
– Verizon Facilities Responsibilities/Results: § Responsible for training
of field technicians on the installation of deregulated telecom services for
Verizon’s VCS Divisions. Training includes installation of voice and
broadband services according to bellcore standards. Performed on-prem
QC inspections of work performed by technicians. Responsible for
training on Verizon’s V-MOBILE field computer systems. § Reduced “Re-works”
by 20% and was recognized as one of the top trainers for VCS division.
Circuit Design Engineer Responsibilities/Results: § Responsible for
designing type 1 thru type 4 circuits. This includes end to end T1/T3’s
and designs which require CFA from Verizon. § Responsible for
designing facilities in response to sales orders and internal service
requests (ISR’s). § Familiar with ASR
process and other provisioning practices § Streamlined
network tracking procedures, and served as dept SME for conversion to
Metasolv.
Network Provisioner Responsibilities/Results: § Designed Ocxx
facilities end to end for internet backbone traffic between WorldCom’s
gateway routers. § Issued ASR’s to
Southwestern Bell for LEC T1’s/T3’s. § Provisioning
responsibilities included tracking status of ASR/LOR and issuing disconnect
if requested CFA was in use. § Also responsible
for loading new SONET rings (and their configuration) and new CFA into TIRKS,
and TCOMS databases, for Midwest region.
Sales Engineer Responsibilities/Results: § Technical advisor
to sales force of over 20 Account Reps. § Reviewed telecom
sales orders for technical accuracy. § Provided technical
support on sales calls for small, medium, and large business; as well as
fortune 500 accounts. § Performed
extensive audit on customer’s existing telecommunications infrastructure.
§ Conducted product
training for Ethernet, Private Line, Transport, Voice Services, and Internet
Services. Also conducted training on new service roll outs. § Responsible for
ordering LEC/ILEC services. § Received MVP award
from VP of Western Region, for sales support which resulted in NW sales
